Dear Tomorrow Missoula

Write a letter to the future to inspire climate action

Submit A
Letter
Climate Smart Missoula and Families for a Livable Climate are excited to bring the DearTomorrow project to Missoula! Dear Tomorrow is a global storytelling project focused on sharing personal messages about climate change to inspire new thinking and action. This project is ongoing in our community - submit yours anytime.
As the reality of the climate crisis becomes only more alarming and urgent, it can be overwhelming to think about what any of us can do to make a difference.  Sharing our own stories - our fears and hopes, and the actions we're taking to be part of the solution - is a powerful way to build positive momentum for change.

How do I participate?

Step 1: Write Your Letter
Write your letter! Visual letters or drawings are welcome as well.
  • For the letter, here’s your prompt: Think of an important person in your life - your child, a friend, a family member or your future self. Imagine it is 2050 and they receive a message from you written today. Your message shares your thoughts about climate change and your promise to take action to ensure they have a safe and healthy world.
  • Need examples? Check out a few of these:
