Join us Friday, June 14th, 2024 from 9:00 - 11:00 for a work party at our adopted mini-park along the Bitterroot Spur Trail (6th St & Ronan). We'll be weeding and planting native forbs and grasses. Bring gloves and hand tools if you have them! Come for the full two hours or drop in for any part of it. For more information, email Susan. -- To sign up for our general volunteer list, email Abby. |
Past Volunteer Opportunities
September 2023 - Our annual Climate & Clean Energy Expo was a huge success thanks to great volunteers who helped keep things running smoothly!
River City Roots Festival 2022
A HUGE THANKS to all the fantastic volunteers who made this year's River City Roots Festival greening efforts a success! This was our last year coordinating volunteers for this effort - we are happy to hand over the reins to our friends at Home ReSource.
Green Team volunteers help help monitor and maintain Zero Waste stations (recycling, compost, and trash receptacles) at the event, run the bike valet, and more.
Why volunteer? Here are FIVE great reasons:
Oh, and did we mention it is fun?!

Why volunteer? Here are FIVE great reasons:
- Volunteers get a free (green) T-shirt, a drink cup and free drink(s) and snacks
- All food vendors must use compostable products (dinnerware, silverware, etc..) and compost and recycling service is what we make happen.
- There'll be stainless steel reusable cups available and NO STRAWS.
- Folks that ride bikes can use the cool (and free) bike valet.
- The music is always amazing, this is a great community event, and it's free because, well, volunteers!
Oh, and did we mention it is fun?!
