Leveraging donations for local energy savings

Missoula's Climate Catalyst Fund is an initiative that simultaneously reduces our community emissions while supporting local housing affordability, solar energy, and energy savings efforts. It is a Fund of Climate Smart Missoula and supported by a professional advisory team.

How it Works

1. You contribute to the fund, providing new resources.

2. We realize building improvements and / or clean energy installation for low-income homes and housing projects — upgrades that wouldn’t happen without your investment. This might look like:

  • Above-and-beyond weatherization
  • Extra insulation
  • Purchasing more cost-efficient appliances
  • Supporting the installation of solar
  • And more!

3. We tell the stories of local projects that build resiliency and momentum.
